Pizza sandwich

Transform pizza dough into delicious sandwiches filled with all your favourite toppings. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 x Sugo tu pizza dough 

  • 1 ripe tomato sliced

  • 3-4 Slices of Prosciutto (or your choice of meat)

  • Pesto or Mayo or Aioli 

  • Mozzarella Sliced 

  • Salt and Pepper

  • Rocket or any leafy greens you prefer

  • Olive Oil

Method:

1) Pre-heat the oven to 250C.

2) Thaw the dough according to pack instructions. 

3) Before stretching the dough, cut it in half  and place onto a piece of baking paper or floured surface.

4) Shape each dough into a circle (about 22cm wide), lightly sprinkle with olive oil over the dough and fold over in half. Add the cheese now if you want melted cheese.

5) Bake for 6-7 minutes until the edges are golden brown.

6) Layer your fresh toppings and serve.
