FESTIVE FOCACCIA

Don't know what to bring to Christmas lunch?
A fresh focaccia is always a winner. 

 

Ingredients:

​

  • 2 x Sugo tu pizza dough 

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 1 Sprig of Rosemary

  • 1 Sprig of Thyme

  • Cherry Tomatoes

  • 1 Garlic Clove

  • Salt & Pepper

​​TIP: Serve as a starter or cut into wedges to dunk into dips or soup. Or simply use to mop up your your plate.

Method:

​

1) Pre-heat the oven to 200C.

2) Prepare the dough according to pack instructions. 

3) Oil a deep baking dish.

4)Combine the two doughs being careful not to squash the air out of the dough. 

5)Place the dough in the baking dish and 

top with garlic, cherry tomatoes, herbs, season with salt and pepper

6) Bake for approx. 15 minutes until the edges are golden brown. If it's still a little pale in the centre, bake for another 5 minutes and check again. Drizzle with olive oil, then remove the focaccia from the baking dish as soon as it's cool enough to handle and let cool completely on a wire rack.
