Corned Beef, Swiss Cheese and crunchy pickles .. the perfect snack!

Some tips before you get started: 

  • Don't overload your calzone

  • Flour your dough generously

  • Only place the ingredients on one side (see pics)

  • Make sure the edges are sealed

  • Make sure the sauerkraut is well drained, blot with paper towel to remove excess liquid if needed


  • 1 x Sugo Tu pizza dough disc

  • Corned Beef (about 150g)

  • Swiss Cheese - 2 slices

  • Russian sauce (or Mayo with Lemon and Paprika also tastes great)

  • Cucumber Pickles

  • Sauerkraut - about 2 tablespoons

  • 1 egg for egg wash, or olive oil


Pre-heat the oven to 190 deg Celsius. Prepare the dough according to pack instructions. 

Stretch the dough to about 10" and place on a piece of floured baking paper.


Top on one side leaving an inch border with corned beef, sauerkraut, sauce, pickles and cheese.

Lift the side of the dough with no filling and gently pull across to the other side creating a half moon shape. 


Seal the edges so no filling can escape by folding the edges over and pushing your fingers down (see pics).


Brush with egg wash or olive oil.

Bake for about 12 minutes or until golden brown and crunchy.

Serve with extra Russian sauce for dipping and more pickles or jalapenos!
