PIZZA POCKETS

Delicious little parcels

Perfect for lunchboxes and freezer-friendly

Some tips before you get started:

  • Flour your dough generously

  • There is no need to let your dough rise, simply bring to room temperature and it is ready

  • A rolling or bottle is handy for this recipe

  • Remember less is more when it comes to toppings!

​

Ingredients:

​

  • 1 x Sugo Tu pizza dough disc

  • Sugo tu pizza sauce

  • Cheese 

  • Pepperoni or ham (optional)

  • Dried herbs for garnish (optional)

  • Olive Oil to brush on (optional)

Method:

1) Pre-heat the oven to 220C.

​

2)Allow dough to reach room temperature. 

 

3) Roll or stretch the dough to about 30cm x 25cm

​

4) Cut into 8 triangles

​

5) Top with 1 teaspoon of sauce and a square cheese - do not overfill!

​

6) Fold each triangle over and make sure the edges are sealed properly using a fork.

​

7) Bake for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.

​

8) Garnish with a brush of olive oil and dried herbs

​

Enjoy warm or freeze in batches for your convenience. 

​
