GARLIC PRAWN PIZZA

Heaven on a pizza .. and just as good if you want to ditch the tomato base!

Some tips before you get started: 

​

  • Watch our dough prep video here 

  • Flour your dough generously

  • Before topping, place your stretched dough onto a floured piece of baking paper that way you can easily slide it onto a baking tray or pizza stone

  • No one likes a soggy pizza - less is more when it comes to toppings!

Ingredients:

​

  • 1 x Sugo Tu pizza dough disc

  • 90g Sugo sauce or good quality passata (optional)

  • 100g Bocconcini or shredded mozzarella

  • 10 green prawns 

  • 1 clove crushed garlic

  • Extra virgin olive oil

  • Salt & pepper

  • Fresh parsley to garnish

  • Fresh sliced chilli (optional)

Method:

Pre-heat the oven to 250 deg Celsius.  Marinate the green prawns in  a bowl with a glug of extra virgin olive oil, crushed garlic and salt and pepper for about 15 minutes. Fry them until just turning red.

Thaw dough according to pack instructions. Stretch the dough to about 11" and place on a piece of floured baking paper.

 

If you are using sauce spread it over the base, then the cheese, prawns and chilli.

Bake for 5-8 minutes or until the crust is blistery and golden brown and the prawns are completely cooked. 

After baking sprinkle with a fresh parsley.
