EASTER EGG BRAID
Our easy version of a traditional classic!
Try sliced with lashings of butter or drizzled with icing.
One pizza dough disc makes one braid.

Ingredients:

1 x Sugo Tu pizza dough disc
-
4 or 5 small chocolate eggs
-
Egg for brushing (optional)
-
Butter for serving (optional)
-
Optional toppings: icing sugar, sprinkles, icing, cinnamon sugar

Method:
1) Pre-heat the oven to 220C.
2)Thaw the dough and allow to reach room temperature, there is no need to let it proof.
3) Cut the dough disc into 3 even strips and stretch each one to about 30cm, joint them at the top and plait the dough
5) Top with eggs (or you can leave this for after baking)
6) Brush with lightly whisked egg
7) Bake for approximately 7 minutes on a tray with baking paper.
8) Top with icing sugar or any treats of your choice! Can also be sliced and served with butter.
