ham & cheese stromboli


Perfect for left over ham, rolled up into a delicious snack.

Some tips before you get started: 

  • Let your dough rise to at least double-size

  • Have a square of baking paper ready


  • 1 x Sugo Tu pizza dough disc

  • 50g grated cheese

  • Leg ham

  • Pizza sauce or passata

  • Fresh basil


Pre-heat the oven to 250C. Thaw dough according to pack instructions and let it rise to at least double the size.

Stretch or roll the dough flat into the a rectangle approx 30cm x 15cm. Place onto a piece of baking paper.

Over the entire dough apply a thin layer of pizza sauce, then one layer of ham and a light sprinkle cheese and basil.

Starting at the short end gently roll the dough.

Tuck under the open ends to make sure it is sealed and none of the toppings will fall out during baking.

Bake for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown.
